@MamaWick ..are those bare patches on the deer some mite infection or is that how they get their winter coat in?

@Nataliesgramma  I have no clue, sorry.  Not sure how thick their winter coat will be as we are in south central Texas.

I don't see bare patches on any of these deer. What I see are deer with different color coats, that are beginning to deepen in color for winter. Depending on the angle and light you get a better look at their blended undercoat and see more gray and black.
