In flipping PA. Yes, we get 90 degrees over the summer, usually 3 or 4 and then it's over for awhile before returning. We have had days and days of this scorching humid weather.
If I drink anymore water I will float.
I don't want to wish my life away but making a fresh apple cake on a nice cool fall day sounds like heaven right now.
If the heat has to stay, let it go into November and December to keep the heating bills down.
I can't imagine living where this weather is the norm.

Everyplace is hotter than it used to be and this is probably going to be the hottest summer on record. You ought to be where it's in the mid 90s to over 100 every day from June through September with little or no respite. We have no choice but to grin and bear it.

@Kachina624 I don't care how beautiful a place is that kind of heat would kill me. I have felt like absolute h*ll since with weather started. My old body can't take it.
I can't do extreme heat or extreme cold, but a least in the cold I can add another layer. I'm a stripped down, no not nekkid, in my house as I can be. I had to go to the bank this am. My jeans and tee shirt came off in the laundry room as soon as I came in.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 Every home, business and car is thoroughly air conditioned. I run errands early while it's cool. The rest of the day we hunker down like they do in January in Minnesota.
On the other hand winter days are gorgeous. I wear a jean jacket or sweater most days and there is plentiful sunshine. Rare gray skies are a treat.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 Hasn't this PA weather been crazy? I live outside Pittsburgh and I don't remember when we've had so many consistently hot days in a row. The few (very few) days the humidity was !owed, it wasn't so bad. But when the dewpoint is 71 and the humidity is in the high 60's, it's almost unbearable. I went to the store around 12:30 this afternoon and by the time I got in my car it felt like someone threw a hot, wet towel on my head. We are supposed to get a break starting Thursday. At this point the mid-eighties are going to feel like heaven.☀️

I get what you're saying, but in the winter here, I can put on my parka and gloves, and still be comfortable. In the extreme heat, I hate being outside. 😰😰

@NEvans2 My niece and her family live outside Pittsburgh. They love it. They have boys 15, almost 14, 4 yr, and a 3 yr. old girl.
I called her today and she and all 4 kids were in the pool. Luckily, they have 8 acres on a dead end road. No neighbors to bother.

We have weeks where our low is in the 90's. Can't wait for October. We stay inside in the summer. Winter is our fun time. Would love to have a few rainy days.
