I thought that Dakota's dress was very tasteful and elegant.
Now, the two dresses that I thought were hideous, were the dress worn by Janelle Monae, which looked like it came from the industrial era, and Leslie Mann.
Her dress looked like a giant yellow comforter. The dress wore her.

@Shanus wrote:Confused by decision of mods. On Fashion Forum, posted opinion of her dress, etc. mentioning that I had seen her "in her all together" and the dress did her no justice and it was poofed.
Yesterday and today, seeing the movie and reading Fifty Shades has been discussed as well as opinions on porn, abuse & violence, etc. No poofs.
What gives?
I saw your original thread and I think the difference is the "wording" in the deleted thread, since this one remains, with a minor change in that wording. (wink!) ![]()

@Serena Sue wrote:How vintage was that?1900? Why would a young woman wear something so covered up?
I just wanted to rip the sleeves off of it. Wow that sounds weird!
And I wanted to rip that frilly high neckline off! LOL!

Her hair was just too flat to her head, and the necklace was just not needed with as much as that dress had going on. The dress was ill-fitting across the shoulders, and desperately needed steaming repeatedly. It looked like someone's old vintage draperies. Not a good look at all.
@ThinkOutsidetheBox It was awful and the hair didn't help. Just added to it looking dated. I feel bad for her. She seems to be shy and nice anytime I've seen her. Who in the world thought this was ok? Wouldn't her mom have known what she was wearing? They are close. Gee, someone should have intervened.

@Reba055. Perhaps her "cover up everything" style dress was a result of her recent movies where nothing was left to the imagination.

I agree! I was thinking that surely she made enough on the "50" movies to afford a stylist and hairdresser!
But if not, where was her Mom or BFF for one of her biggest nights?

@KingstonsMom. The only plus of such a fashion flop is that she's so young, she can learn from this mistake (hopefully) & make corrections in the future. One more 50 Shades movie to go.

I didn't like the dress, the color, or her hair.
I think sometimes these people wear these things on purpose. Being on the best dressed list or the worst dressed gets people talking...
