The last several years, I have found things that I wanted/needed at great prices or shipping deals, but not this year.

I must just have too much, be shopped out or something, because I haven't seen a thing that interests me in the least.

Anyone else finding great deals today?

I'm about shopped out this Fall. Recently bought 2 46" LED Smart TV's, 1 65" LED Smart TV, all 3 from my favorite store, Costco . . . and I think husband just ordered me a new wireless laser printer. So we're about electronic'd out for 2014. Replacing an OLD projection Mitsubishi and a couple of older tv's, one in my exercise room so I need some wireless earphones . . . between the fan and treadmill and cranking up the volume on the TV.

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a NordicTrack piece of equipment . . .over 1,000.00 off today and yesterday I found a code for another 10% off. Not quite ready to pull the trigger yet though.

Daughter made me an Excel spreadsheet complete with links for her b-day and Christmas, (her bday is 12 days after Christmas). Son, maybe a few things, he'd be happy with some money as he is heading off to college next Fall to pad his bank account.

Tempted to buy some Surface Pro 3's. We're not Apple people. We can spend some of son's 529 money on those BEFORE high school graduation come May '15 . . . can't spend it on computers for college, only K-12. Weird rule huh?

I just went to my email account and deleted emails from 10 different companies (including one from QVC) about cyber Monday deals. I'm just beyond not interested in deals on things I haven't already identified as a need or a want.

Some years back, I used to watch shopping channels while I ironed or leafed through catalogs and the ads that arrived in stacks with my morning paper just in case I saw something I might like.

I've stopped doing that - I shop from a list or a wish list and that's working for me. Kind of ironic that now that I have money to shop more, I really don't care much to do it. I suspect I'm a retailer's nightmare!

I've been watching a pair of sandals from a FL department store since the end of last summer. I'm in no hurry to get them, but I keep checking back to see if they'll go on sale during the winter months like they do in most places. Last week I checked the price and they were still full price at $44.99 a pair. With all the Cyber Monday hoopla, I was hoping to get them at a deeply discounted price. Well, I checked the price this morning and they went UP $5.00, to $49.99 a pair. {#emotions_dlg.sneaky}

They must think we're totally stupid. I think they're counting on the 'low information shoppers' falling for their phony discounts and wild email claims.

If there's something I have been wanting, I pay attention to the emails. But any true deals are pretty much gone by Black Friday afternoon now and Cyber Monday seems to be the leftovers. My shopping is done, thankfully. I have checked out my emails and deleted them untempted.

Land's End has 40% off regular prices and free shipping. I ordered a few things from there.

I have found that many sites have raised prices befor offering their Cyber Monday discount.

I bought a gorgeous crystal chandelier fixture but only saved 10% off the price with free shipping. Some of the online lighting stores I visited today had no sales at all.
