@software I think if you don't get out into the hustle and bustle once in awhile that you are missing out.It is kind of like watching a football game on tv or actually being at the stadium.The crowd feeds on each other's excitement and the noise and action are heightened.BF shoppers have their game plan and strategies to get to all of the stores where the deals are scored..Some people win and some lose but the rush and defeat can be seen and felt...You can stand in cashier lines proud of your shopping skills with all of the other victorious shoppers or you can be frustrated at home by all of the internet problems and overloads.Black Friday is an event...you can choose to be a player or side lined.

And then there's the delivery problems ....the companies just can't keep up with the demand....cross your fingers and hope the gifts arrive in time for you to get them, wrap thm, give them......

Literally everything I’ve ordered in the past week is here already. Even a gift I ordered Saturday.

Re: Cyber Black Friday Experience

If you look at the Black Friday ads, many of the big tickets items say "at least 1 per store" in tiny print.  What are the chances of getting that one?  LOL

I ordered 1 thing on BF on-line from Alex & Ani. They never ship quickly.

I did a lot of shopping yesterday and all but 1 of my orders have already shipped.

@Lipstickdiva
Regarding the quantity of items in the black friday ads,
at Wal-Mart the smart tv that I went in for showed a minimum
of 7 per store. They actually had 5 pallets which was 100 tvs.
Nothing but a gimmick at least at that store.

The Target site was wonky today. I’m not finding their prices to be competitive anymore so I only shop there every 3-4 months.

I have always found the Target site to be wonky and sloooow.

I only go there when I've exhausted all other places trying to find something.

OK y'all ordered in NOVEMBER yes plenty of time to get your purchases delivered quickly....but wait a couple weeks threads will start popping up with how people are worried that their gifts won't arrive on time....... and then wait until after Christmas to read all the threads how their Christmas were ruined and how Amazon Prime, UPS, and Fed Ex let them down.....when they shouldve accepted responsibility if you are late to do your Christmas shopping, then purchase locally you cant rely on online retailers to come through....its happened the last couple of years.

Well yeah - which is why I don’t do it with very few exceptions, and always have a backup plan when I rarely order after Dec 4-5, which I almost never do.

The thread is about black Friday shopping, not mid December shopping. 3 of my black Friday orders are already delivered. And that's 8 items in those 3 boxes
