Great photo there.  The deer where we live do that too; they also eat peanuts off a bench in our yard.  I place the peanuts (unshelled) out there for blue jays, but some days they don't eat all of them.  I put apples out for the deer too, but they seem to like peanuts better.

Ours do the same.  They can clean out a feeder that holds 10 lbs of seed in no time.   

Everybody has to eat!

Much nicer to see deer stealing the birdseed than the squirrels that drain my feeders almost  everyday.
