-3 here.....supposed to get up to close to 20 tomorrow, and then on Wed.-Thurs. we are supposed to get 1 to 3 inches of more of that nasty word....... And then on Sat or Sun it is supposed to be in the mid 40's.......

My dog loves it.

Used to use an electric blanket, but was afraid after getting cats that they would chew on the cord......So, got rid of it. Now I use a Northern Nights down blanket, and it keeps me very nice and comfy.....if like now where it is extremely cold, might put an extra cover over the feet area. But really didn't need it last night, so will probably also be fine tonight. And, I keep my heat set on 68 during the night.

Oh sweetie, I am so sick of this. My owner/landlord was going to move my car today after he cleared the drifted and plowed snow away from my car, and cleaned off my car......it wouldn't start.....he even jumped it, it sputtered, but that was it. Said it will probably start once it warms up......Hope he is right, if not I will have to have my car towed down to Dobb's where I get any work done on it.

Other than this horrible weather, how are you????? Tell your dear son I said hello.

No dear, I'm staying in. If my car won't start when it warms up, maybe he can try to jump it again. He did say to way till it warms up.

I'm thinking I am going to go and get in my jammies now. Something about this cold weather makes me want to go to bed earlier. I can always watch TV from there. Downton Abbey from last night will be shown again later on. I watched it last night, but would like to see it again.....just in case I missed something.....

sylviahomeatlast, ours are going to stay freezing for another day then we are to warm up to about 15. Can hardly wait for that to happen. Thank god we have electric and gas so we are warm enough some are not so lucky. I did tell my family the extra insulation we had put in our attic really makes a difference in our home. That I can say was money well spent.
