@Oznell, I'm also a fan of Subway. In fact I got a tuna sub today, I really like the choice of cheeses, vegetables, and dressings. Love the 9-grain wheat bread too.

I love the Subway vegetarian subs. Lot os onions and two different dressings make a delicious sandwich, and I am NOT a vegetarian myself.

Me three for the Subway vegetarian subs.  Those, along with the rotisserie chicken ones, are my go-tos.

NONE. I don't eat fast food, which is SO unhealthy - fatty and loaded with sodium. No wonder the majority of American women are overweight.

Re: Current Favorite "Fast Food"

Read that by the end of May all McDs will have fresh hamburgers some are already selling fresh but with all the Mc D's around it will take some time but they said end of May fresh meat in all Mc D's they got to compete with other fast foods now. Love Subway, I don't think they have drive thru's maybe that's why people don't want to get out of the car. Plus it's mostly custom made so a drive thru would take more time. Rather eat at subway than McD's. $4.99 footlong is a good deal. I can't eat it all at once but sometimes take out all the meat & next day use a fresh roll or bread. We eat once a month there. Once in awhile want McD's but not too often. Anyone have Smashburger, Freddy's, Five guy's, culvers? more money but better food than mcD's.

We have a Five Guys near us. I was there once when my grandkids talked me into it.  It was expensive, I remember that.

i can’t eat gluten, so I ordered a burger without the bun. It was awful.  The meat is not so great without the bun and and trimmings.  I am not a picky eater, but I couldn’t swallow that cheap meat, I paid a high price and expected high quality.

i was disappointed.  I buy quality meat and make much better burgers at home.

Yes, some of these upscale fast food is very expensive. I know but do not go there. They talk about McD's about how bad fast foods, I will go Subway if I have a choice. Went to Freddy's (like Culvers) 2 hamburgers & fries (no drinks) about $15 insane. Really? not going back.

Found the one I was looking for!  Shake Shack.  It's a brand new chain.  Anyone eat there?

@songbird   Yes, I have had burgers and fries at Shake Shack -- very good!  The best Shake Shack burger was a special promotion with NBC's Today Show's Al Roker.  He created a special burger called the Roker burger --  Angus beef burger topped with Niman Ranch BBQ pulled pork, double American cheese, red-eye mayo and pickles.  Since it was part of a charity promotion, it was only available for a short time -- too bad!

Thank you!  We're going to the mall (my hubby & me) to try it our.  Thanks for suggestions!

Yeah, but I still enjoy eating it!

The key is to eating fast food is moderation, but I am still working on that!
