Cupro. Take some lousy recycled cellulose from cotton and recycle it. Then charge more for it.

[ Edited ]

Let's just fool the public into thinking something cheap is something great. Then we can pull the wool, or in this case, cellulose, over consumers' eyes. Let's charge $135.96 on sale and down from the regular price of $164.50, for a plain button down shirt made from this fabric. All we have to do is talk it up to sell it. We'll set the price higher for the item than other tops so customers perceive that if it costs more it must be better. Check out A387036 by Side Stitch One.

This sounds like footage from a J Crew sales team Zoom.

I guess you could also eat these clothes since cellulose is used as a filler for bulk and fiber in food products so there's that, I guess

We can make fun of them for it if we want to, though.

Sponges are made from cellulose too. Maybe the shirts are highly absorbent. Probably matter of time until we see Scrub Daddy pants.

The choice lies in the hands of the consumer...bottom line.

Honestly, as someone who would not wear silk, it's an option.

Have found that buying cruelty free products is just as expensive as not buying in many cases.
