@Shelbelle.  Wow. Not bleached flour!  What do you expect cake to contain?  That's  why it's good.

That's what sweet treats are; flour, fat, sugar, liquid, flavoring!    Bake!

I'm always suspicious of photo, without knowing a source. And items shown on display may have been sitting in a warm studio warehouse for the past week. Certainly not going to deter me from making a purchase. If the produce is unsatisfactory one just contacts customer service.

There is nothing available like this anywhere near me, not a bakery or grocery store and certainly not at this price. And each is enough for two servings. It is a treat that freezes very well so so you can spread out how often you want to treat yourself. My only complaint is that I wished they were smaller. Don’t know if anyone else would agree.

It sounds like Jimmy changed the crumble topping in response to customer comments that there was too much, too heavy a topping. I never thought so, but could see how some might have found them dry. I'm looking forward this version.

I only wish it was a 16 count where there was a true combo of four of the four varieties.

We only bring foods with unbleached flour into our home, plenty to be found out there and delish too !!!

I seriously doubt that anyone could tell a difference in taste between bleached or unbleach flour in a comparison test.

We use either one, but we did switch to bleached for baking after reading that many bakers prefer it, probably a texture thing.

The photo is when they were presented on QVC, you can see part of the on screen info OR you can watch this video of the presentation on youtube:

I always enjoy his presentations. For me his bakery items are a treat that I choose to indulge in occassionally. The crumb cakes and muffins go well with my morning cup of coffee. Looking forward to the new lemon.

@RetRN

I plan on cutting in 1/2 and enjoying with my morning cup of coffee or  hot tea.

I heard them mention that these can be put in the freezer. Which I am going to have to do.

The video is a classic!!  He tries to be so cool while removing the other half of the moldy cake.  I think I'll stick to my own baking as I control everything.  That is so gross!!

I ordered today with the Lemon option. They look really yummy, and most of the comments that I have read are people who have thoroughly enjoyed them.

This is my first time ordering so hopefully mine will be delivered minus the extra dose of mold.

@icezeus I got the lemon set too. That picture with the mold surprised me. I've had the crumb cakes before and they are great. I freeze them and take out one individually wrapped cake at a time.

@AuntG

I think that's the key, don't just keep them in the fridge, keep them in the freezer and take out what you want at the time, allowing time for them to 'defrost'.
