I think you would like them - I bought several times and just got sick of them.  Always hated the thick top coating of crumbs = not much taste and just calories to me.

Basically I'm done with Jimmy and now buy from local bakery.

In a previous thread about this same Jimmy product, we discussed the fact that it has dozens of chemicals, and is a sad development for what were once excellent bakery products from him. In the beginning, he used butter, flour, etc.,just a few ingredients. Now he manufactures products using formulas designed to bolster shelf life, hyped flavors using artificial chemicals, etc. If you check, I believe these crumb cakes have close to 50 ingredients!

I've gotten them several times and they were always fresh and delicious with no sign of mold.  There are no reviews because they constantly change the flavors and configurations, each having a different item number.

I ordered today with the Lemon option. They look really yummy, and most of the comments that I have read are people who have thoroughly enjoyed them.

 

This is my first time ordering so hopefully mine will be delivered minus the extra dose of mold.

@fthunt. My criteria for crumb cake = the more crumbs the better.  When I bake one, I double the crumbs.   That's the best part.

Did you read the Nutrition info??

Fully loaded with fat, sugar, carbs and calories, all thru the roof !!  And to add insult to injury they are made with bleached flour.

They are awesome!  I love the ones i have tried and have ordered over and over again. Cinnamon and Chocolate are amazing.

I always enjoy his presentations. For me his bakery items are a treat that I choose to indulge in occassionally. The crumb cakes and muffins go well with my morning cup of coffee. Looking forward to the new lemon.
