Good to hear they are finally letting the people off the ship. Hardly the best place to quarantine. They just aren't equipped to do so. According to the news I watched, the ones that live in Ca. will be quarantined there. The others will be shipped out to other states.

@Goldengate8361 Agree. Passengers from the Princess Diamond were quarantined in my area, too.

Those who tested positive were well cared for at a facility equipped to handle the task.

I wonder when people overreact how they would handle this situation.

i thought this was to be happening tomorrow? there have to be decisions on who to send where, who is to be tested, the logistics of moving 3500 passengers - and the top consideration: to keep community of disembarkation safe.

22 quarantined Georgians from the ship are coming to Dobbins Air Base in Marietta GA.

Pretty close to where I live.

I decided to google my City....for the virus..and yep, 1 person has it. Is at home. They would not say which city, just my County. Person was on a cruise ship that went to Mexico.

I'm having a hard time understanding why anyone would choose to go on a cruise at this time. You are isolated and in close quarters with thousands of other people. Is it a cavalier or defensive attitude and thinking "I'm not going to change my life one bit" or is it total denial?

I would welcome any and all COVID 19 patients who were sent here for treatment. We have some of the best hospitals and specialists in the world so, this would be the best place for them. Although most won't have an complications, they'll just have flu symptoms (or no symptoms) and recover and get on with their lives.
