People can try all they want to bring some things of normalcy to their lives but don't you get it?!

Traveling to go to always celebrated birthday parties, etc.

Stop!

You are saving your own life right now and those of your children, grandchildren who's birthdays or celebrations you are going to, by not going and staying home!

You can avoid all the news you want but nurses in their 20's are dying!

Nurses and Dr's are saying a person comes in and seems fine, and they are shocked how fast they take a turn for the worse and die! Whether 20 or 100 or babies, it doesn't seem to matter that much to this virus.

Yes not everyone will die or even get it but why aren't people still listening to what they can and should do to save their own lives?! if not those of others.

Well, maybe as some church member said whose church chose to hold services again, they didn't care if they infected others!

This is not something you can wish away, or say oh I'm not worried, I'm doing everything I normally do.

I guess it is human stubborn nature to think this won't happen to them until it does, or worse to the precious people they are celebrating with!

Do everything we can to have no regrets and hopefully we and our family will get through this alive and well and able to celebrate as many birthday parties or other celebrations as much as your heart desires (if you are still alive!).

Because we have never experienced anything like this before, maybe some just still don't believe or understand that it can possible affect them or be as bad as they hear. It is.

@gidgetgh My mother wants to come up from FL to GA for family birthdays next week and they don't want to get stopped halfway either.  It's a mess!

I did not think there were supposed to be any family gatherings. Best if she stays homes and catches the next birthdays.

There are hefty fines for gatherers in my neighborhood, and trust me, they are STRICTLY ENFORCED.

@roeroe1005  From the News Journal today :The order quthorizes any Delaware law enforcement officer to stop a vehicle displaying out-of-state tags traveling in the state EXCEPT for on I-95, I-295 or I-495, police said.  You should be ok.

I heard on a Live PD Special tonight that some states may consider clamping down on sales of alcohol to prevent domestic violence.

@katiemichelle Oklahoma just made it legal to DELIVER booze from the liquor store!  Like food and medicine.  But we just made pot legal, so that's Oklahoma!  From Bible Belt to anything goes in a year.

To get together ,for parties, family gatherings,is really very selfish.

People have to accept the idea that it's necessary to sacrifice all family gatherings and related travel right now. If you are fortunate all of your family will still be here when gatherings are safe again. It's a very small sacrifice to make. People who refuse to make that sacrifice are selfish and in denial.

If you think grocery stores are a mess now, try stopping interstate truck traffic.

It wouldn't involve essential interstate commerce. We're talking about travel by individuals that is not essential and should not be happening.

This isn't about travel, well, except for my next door neighbor who has decided he must keep travelling across to my yard whenever he sees me outside.  I have told him I am keeping distance from everyone but he seems oblivious and wants to take every opportunity to tell me what he's doing in his yard and how he's getting ready to have a party on the patio.  I've told him I won't be attending.  He keeps ignoring that.

There seems to be a large segment of the population who just want to defy restrictions just to defy them.  The "don't tell me what to do" types.  They're like a bunch of 12 year olds.
