22 year-old young woman steals identities of what appear to be young men from various social networking sites, then finds what appear to be young women and starts up conversations with them that lead to "cyber relationships." Sometimes it's young women she knows, although the identities of the young men she assumes are always anonymous.
She has been doing this since she was 15. As far as anyone knows, she has never profited from this financially.
FBI has been tracking her activities for a year. Latest episode has revealed who she is and she has been served with restraining orders by the latest two parties she has victimized . . . no one knows what will come next.
Is she mentally ill? Is she a felon? (Identify theft is considered a felony.) She denies everything.
What is your opinion of this young woman? What do you think should happen?
(By the way, this is not a family member.)
