I posted over the weekend about the credit card fraud I had to deal with and how the card company wanted me to send pics of my license, and a selfie. Well here's another story from someone else......
A package was delivered to my home today. It was for my address, but it was for a person I had never heard of. The package was from Nordstrom, so I called them. Long story short, the rep was able to track the order and it's being picked up tomorrow.
What was interesting though was I told the rep about my recent fraud incident and how the credit card company wanted me to send my license and a selfie. She said the same thing happened to her. Both the credit card company and Equifax wanted photos of her license, and a selfie picture!
Just thought I'd pass this along. Apparently these companies now want the fraud victim to prove their identity with license and SELFIE pics. Hope you don't get hacked!
