My first time back on the forum today.  We had between 8 and 10 Tornadoes here in Mo Thursday evening. I had my 6 yo grandson here for the weekend and we had to go to the basement of my apartment when the sirens started going off. I had to calm him down. Then I lost power, his dad picked him up to go back home after the storm but I decided to stay and wait it out. My power did not return until Friday night about 9 pm. After all of that storms this morning knocked out the internet for about 3 hrs. It's been raining off and on all day today but no additional severe weather thank goodness and thank goodness there were no fatalities from the tornados !  How's the weather where you are ?

@Goodie2shoes Glad you are safe and sound. The poor little lad must have been so scared but glad he's home safe. I heard a bit on the news about your weather.  Feel so badly for all those people.

Very glad you are safe.

In the Appalachian mountains of NC we are having some heavy rain from thunder storms in the afternoon.  Par for the course for us.

Stay safe everyone!

Here in central FL, home of the Mouse, we've been getting severe thunder and lightening storms with downpours. We call it Liquid Sunshine!!

We had a tornado here in Michigan yesterday in the town of Gaylord.  About an hour away from me.  2 confirmed dead and 44 injured so far.

Last week was bad too. We had temperatures in the 90s. Some severe storms. We got 6 inches of rain in about 30 minutes and flooded out parts of town.

Pictures of the tornado from yesterday:
