I realize Cally is just a baby but we are having a real problem with her piddling her crate at night - I never had this with any of my other pups. We let her out two times during the night, but she still piddles by the door of the crate...I think it is more of an excited piddling, she gets angry, worked up and wants out of there, then pees while she is screaming. I took the papers, and pad out of the crate this morning and put a huge box in there to cut down the amount of space she has, I will put some kibble on the floor at bedtime and see how she does.

She has only had 3 accidents in her expen since we got her, none while loose in the house. I do have a small pup tent, was thinking of zipping her up in there inside the crate - would only be able to use it for a week or so before she could chew out LOL. I did set it up in her expen this morning and she slept half in and half out of it.

She does not have a UTI...is fine in all other ways, actually a really good puppy, just this night time crate problem. I told my son maybe we should stop letting her out during the night, I mean if she is going to pee in there anyway, she might get the message that no one is going to come if she screams and will stop, and then the excited piddling might stop.

Any other suggestions?
