I like him a lot, but sometimes he's a little hyper for me.

I like him...never sure why I didn't warm up to him more. I do not like the skeleton sidekick.

I don't, either.

Re: Craig Ferguson Leaving "Late, Late Show"

In as much as I also find the 'robot skeleton' and pantomime horse a bit gimmicky for my liking, I do respect his stand-up presentation. His opening monologue is very well-written. And the show he did after his mother passed on was very moving and had me in tears for most of the hour.

I quit watching after he added his "sidekick."

I, too, quit watching after he added that stupid skeleton and horse.

What ever he does in the future I hope he leaves them far behind!

I could not agree more. I like him when he's a guest on other talk shows but cannot watch his own show.

Re: Craig Ferguson Leaving "Late, Late Show"

I think it's pretty clear, no need for speculation. They passed him over the big job; the job he really wanted. So, it's time for him to move on and explore other options while he's still in demand. I watch him every now and then, he's a bright and funny guy and he's too young to sit and wait for the network to give him the boot in a few years.

Craig was first in line to replace Letterman per his contract at the whim of the producers. If it didn't happend, his contract called for a huge settlement for him, so this is not a surprise.

I predict Kimmel will be the next late night host to tumble once Colbert takes over.

I didn't know that! Would have loved to see him replace Letterman. ANyway I caught a little of his show last night. He was talking about the change. Classy guy. He said he has a lot of shows left to do. I'll have to try to catch him more often. Hope he continues to be on televison.
