Re: Covid vaccine procedure question

I think "swinging" might not be the best word to use. Just moving your arm, range on motion as much as possible, but don't swing.

Re: Covid vaccine procedure question

[ Edited ]

We received our first vaccine shot Friday, I had some arm and shoulder pain but it was gone the next day. I had a strange thing happen while we waited in line. An elderly woman was taking pictures with her cell of people who weren't 6 feet apart and she was loudly discussing them with others around her. I only had my hubby next me and I told her to please back off from us,I should have asked her what she was going to do with the pictures. Any thoughts on this?

I think you are right. Swinging was the word this person used but I bet range of motion is the true idea.

I usally ask toget my shots in my not dominant arm...maybe it is better to do the opposite? Since you move your dominant arm more. Interesting information. Thanks!

She's probably going to put them all over Facebook to shame people or report them to the social distance police.

If I had to tell someone to back off I would have not used the word please, rude gets rude back.

Don't believe everything you hear.

A simple response:  ASK WHY of your health department.

Re: Covid vaccine procedure question

When I got my flu shot, I was told to periodically roll my arm around in circles to prevent any soreness.  I did and I had no soreness whatsoever.
