After spending most of the past week at the hospital with a seriously ill family member (and sometimes passing time by being online here) we are blessed to be home this evening. I just finished shopping at the grocery store and will do a simplified Christmas Eve dinner. I have family around me and we are still here this day and that is all that matters.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to All! If you are upset at QVC or UPS or FedEx or Amazon for unfulfilled delivery promises pleases remember the true meaning of the holiday and the blessing of family and friends. If you or any in your family are ill this holiday, I send my prayers to you. Sometimes there are hidden blessings and lessons of faith within the most difficult of circumstances. If you have lost a loved one, I send prayers of comfort and solace and love.
