Never let the abundance of gifts from God cause you to forget the Giver.

blessings including those which I take for granted.

Meditation for the day:

Faith can be the bridge between us and God. It is not possible for all to

be seen and known. We do not see or know directly, but we can experience

the power of God's spirit through our faith. It is the bridge between us

and God, which we can take or not, as we will.

There could be no morality without free will. We can make the choice ourselves.

We can make the venture of belief.

Prayer for the day:

I pray that I may choose and decide to cross the bridge of faith. I pray

that by crossing this bridge I may receive the spiritual power I need.

Good evening my friends! Time to start a new week! Last night I was just too tired to think about it, which is good having this stay until I have time to start the new one. So far I haven't heard anything negative about this new format and it seems to be working out well. Blessings today - I took it easy, being slow with my sore arm, but we invited our good friends, Ann and Ray over for supper tonight, Linus made pork chops and our homemade sausage on the grill, I made hashbrowns, mixed with some of our frozen green peppers, and onions, and I served our squash we froze, carrots, and they brought dessert. I started out with a good salad! Nice visiting after our meal, what a blessing they are to us! We were talking about what blessings our priests are, Father Mark and Father Joe, they are so impressive and loving and we are so fortunate to have them - both have wonderful talents of singing, and giving great homilies!

In the morning I see Dr. Mike again for my arm. Today it's 5 weeks since I fell on it - don't sprains usually take about six weeks? Last night Lori worked on it for 40 minutes, and she has me scheduled for an hour on Thursday morning. She is a blessing to us too, my own daughter being my massage therapist! What are your blessings? Please come and post some things in your lives that you know are blessings from God! Praying for all of you - and thanks for your prayers for us! That is much appreciated!

Good Things To Remember

Stop trying to please others - it doesn't work.

Start pleasing yourself.

Make sure your shoe souls are clean when you're walking through someone else's life.

Upon awakening each day, use the following quotation.. " Thank You God, for this day...

let's get out there and see what wonderful stuff we can accomplish "TOGETHER".

Always praise a person for a job well done.

Praise your children often.

Words we should say more often: "LOVE YOU".

Never say good-bye or good night to your husband, child, mother, father, dear friends, without making sure they've heard or felt your "LOVE YOU" message.

Remember that the world does not expect you to be more than you are capable of being, but it does expect you to try to live up to all that you were created for.

You can't turn back the clock, but you can wind it up again.

When you are having problems

And feel there's no help around.
