And isn't chocolate, especially dark, supposed to be good for headaches?

Just throw a brownie underneath that butter pecan....Bam!

@ECBG  If you read the articles about this subject it has nothing to do with sugar. It has to do with the fact that ice cream is very cold

I get a lot of headaches and for some reason, ice cream really helps. Has anyone else had this happen? and why would ice cream work better than aspirin or tylenol?

@PuppyLoverBob666  Actually ice cream can make my headaches worse. The cold goes up my sinuses and hurts my head sometimes.

@Pearlee , if you get a brain freeze try putting your tongue flat up against the roof of your mouth.  DD's OT gave us that tip.

I was told by my Doctor that it helps some people because it's cold. Some people eat ice cream rather than using an ice pack.

I'm not an ice cream person so I rub the spot with icy hot and it helps.

Do a google search " ice cream helps headaches. Yes, it does with some people. You can read the explanations why.

@Janey2  I've been told that also by my Doctor but since I'm not into ice cream I haven't tried it.

Ice cream cures any ailment I migh have!
