Could have saved if I had gone to gas station Friday!!

So annoying. I usually fill my car (always at 1/2 tank) on Thursday/Friday - should have known that they would be "gouging" in FL (there is no cap I believe like other states where they can only raise a nickel or something).

Wed - gas was $2.19

Thursday - gas was $2.29

Friday -- gas was $2.39

today -

$2.69 regular

$2.99 premium

Ridiculous! I felt sorry for the truck next to me - kept going til $74 ...

Recently here in California, gas was $3.09, and now it is $3.29.

2.79 here yesterday at a shell station in central maryland, but i had 50 cents off a gallon from my grocery store gas reward points, which brought it down to $2.29.....thank goodness i saved them for now.

$2.69 yesterday at the delaware beaches.

Ours is always around $3.00 per gallon for regular in Seattle, so not much has changed....yet. However, i heard something really disgusting on the news this morning. After all the wonderful, generous things people did to help one another in this disaster, there are reports of extreme gouging across Texas near the cities hit. Some are charging $20 per gallon or more for gas, water, and other food necessities at outrageous rates, and even a motel that gouged these poor survivors. Now legal agencies will have to investigate and go after these people. How is it that some people can be so greedy and so cruel?
