Could You Live Without Cable TV

My brother and his family recently moved to Vermont and don't have cable TV. Just one of those old fashioned antennas by their own choice. I don't watch a whole lot of tv but there would be some channels I would miss, and I don't mean the reality shows. Never watch those.
