Costco or Sams?

I'm having to renew my membership in Sam's shortly; and since we've had a new Costco's open in our town, I'm rethinking my membership and wonder if I should switch to Costco's. I'm looking for opinions from those of you who have shopped at both. What do you find in either one that cause you to have a preference? Cheaper, more products and selection, etc.?
