He gives the creep factor a new meaning. Yuk

I thought the video of his wife yesterday was really strange. She was walking with Bill C into the courthouse and had this strange smile on her face. So fake. She also kissed him 2 times while he was seated and then she took her seat. Today after the verdict I saw him stride out of court. Not the feeble, blind, hanging on person of previous days.
I doubt he will serve anytime in jail. His lawyers will appeal and it will take a long time. He could die in the interim. I believe he is under house arrest now. How his wife can live with him after all of this is beyond me. I know I read that a daughter died several weeks.

I definitely think he should go to prison. To still be surrounded by the luxuries of home, to me, is not any punishment at all. Many people (take those who are ill) are confined to their homes and, as much as they would like to get out, can't. They seem to make a pretty satisfactory life for themselves at home.
I think for someone like Bill Cosby....staring at bars or hearing doors lock behind him would be a rude awakening. The fact that he shows no remorse convinces me even further that that is exactly what he needs and what society needs to see. If we want to send a message to these men who think they can get away with anything...I think it's imperative that he get jail time.

I vote to lock him up, justice must be served.
I really don't care how old or infirm he pleads to be. I'm pretty certain that if you or I were caught in the same net, we'd be locked up for a long time.
He's a creepy jerk.

I have to say one more thing.
Instead of women coming out of the woodwork to speak up about being assaulted by Cosby, a lot of the women were intimidated by his show biz reputation and power. They knew he could destroy them.
He assaulted a woman in the green room of NBC's Johnny Carson show. Louisa Moritz was her name. She was horrified. He knew she would not say anything. She was a minor, minor celebrity.
I'm still surprised at the number of people who assume if a woman is sexually assaulted they will immediately go to the police and report it. Both male and female victims sometimes just aren't able to do so. That certainly doesn't mean the crime didn't happen! What compounds this problem is that in the 1970s-1980s-1990s many women weren't believed .... or it was assumed "they were asking for it" and just dismissed the reports.
Law makers need to take human nature into consideration ..... and a little common sense would be nice, too.

@arizona babe wrote:for his age 30 years in prison is just too much, house arrest would be the best- however who really knows if all of the allegations are true from these women, maybe one or two but I sincerely doubt all of them are telling the truth just like a lot of women that are spouting off the me too thing- and yes I am woman but I also know that alot of flirting goes on and things are said by both men and women, but I guess if you are so thin skinned you would take offense- I do not condon physical touching but words are completely different- I also believe if you feel you have been violated waiting years is not appropriate, speak up and report it when it happens, women need to just get a thicker skin and stand up- i know most won't agree with me but being an ex flight attendant and RN i have seen it all and have dished out alot myself to men
Pennsylvania has many different types of prisons to accomodate different types of crimes and facilities for aged and disabled offenders. So in my opinion there is no reason to have him granted the luxury of house arrest. However at the approximate cost of $30,000 per year, it bugs me that taxpayers have to pay for his incarceration. For example he could go to SCI Laurel Highlands which serves as the Commonwealth's provider to inmates with special needs; namely, long-term care, personal care, wheelchair, dialysis and geriatric inmates, as well as general population inmates.

Because it's all about the almighty dollar. The court system knows he's loaded. If this was an ordinary plain Joe, he'd be behind bars. We have a very effed up judicial system.
