We did it.We have been looking around at kittys but wasn't really planing on getting one so soon as I am still very traumatized.Well we were looking at the humane society and the last window we came too was this beaiutiful kitty. My husband and I both said at the same time what soulful eyes.We were looking at male cats as that what we felt would work better with Cookie but this girl just melted both our hearts. She is 4 years old,a long haired maine coon mix and she was given away because the owner became allergic.Ever hear of zyrtec. We did all the paperwork yesterday but wanted to wait till we had her home to tell everyine. We are calling her Lucy,as I love Lucy.I am still very sad with the sudden loss of Buddy but how can we not give a good home to someone so sweet and in dire need of one.they said all the kittens are gone and no one wants the adult cats.Well she has a home now.Just hope my Cookie will come around. If I had a camera I would post a picture but I am from the Flinstone era and don't have one.
Any helpful suggestiions on how to make Cookie happier please tell me. I have already done the damp towel and have them seperated.'
