I save some caps from my supplement bottles, often these will fit on to a RX bottle

If you have those, just turn your cap upside down and it becomes non childproofed.

CVS, at least not here, doesn't do the flip top caps.

@CelticCrafter It's not a flip top cap. If your prescription cap is smaller at the top, turn it over and that smaller part will fit in your bottle like a stopper.

@Laura14 Those Reversible tops were Great! My Veterinarian had those.
My CVS DId NOT. I never even thought they wouldn't. I had to ask a Neighbor to open the bottle of meds prescribed for me when I broke my wrist! ![]()

This is what I am talking about. If you have a graduated cap, turn it upside down and the smaller top part fits inside your bottle so you can just push it off instead of the child proof hold and turn.

@candys mine You and me both! Except when I broke my wrist, I forgot to tell them and it was a complete comedy trying to open that bottle the first time one handed. 🤣

I know about turning the caps over so there's no need to push down on them to open but I still need to unscrew the cap once it's turned over. I can't just push it off. It's just not possible b/c the cap and bottle have screw threads.

You CAN teach an old🐕 new tricks. I just literally walked over to my "stash" 💊💊 and flipped my lid. It does work. Thank you!
