Re: Contacted Governor to suspend lotteries

The way things are going, income from purchasing lottery tickets may be one of the few things keeping states going.  We seem to be on our own in acquiring face masks, respirators, tests and perhaps governors could re-route the monies into helping citizens and patients who need diagnosis and care.  It's like war time when creative thinking has to take a front seat, not worrying if a few people pop in to buy lottery tickets.  WWII comes to mind.

If people are able to leave their homes, lotto tickets are not the enemy.

That's nuts.

Most lottery tickets are sold in supermarkets and convenience stores, anyway, which remain open.

Who cares what they're buying?

Apparently the OP does, which I find very strange........

Re: Contacted Governor to suspend lotteries

Surely you are not serious. Probably not up to you to decide what is a necessary trip to a grocery store or gas station. Just saying.
