Wegman's is my favorite. Publix is second. Unfortunately we don't have either around here.

My youngest daughter lives close by the Wegman's in Cherry Hill, NJ, and I had been there a couple of times in the past. She stops there on her way home from work every night to get the fresh mostly organic food she eats, she never eats prepared or pre-packaged food. Open her fridge . . . see nothing. It's an "experience" to shop there, it even has its own restaurant on the second floor.

They're local, so Wegmans has been on my radar since mom shopped there when I was a kid. I love Wegmans all day long, but do shop at Walmart, too, along with Tops.

I'm looking for value and quality. My produce comes from Wegmans (or a farmer's market in season). If there are enough products priced lower at a store, you'd better believe that's where I'll be headed, and I often get frozen/canned foods at a much lower price elsewhere. Also, when I'm at Walmart, I use the self-checkout system.

Comparison shopping is the key.

Wegman's is fine, but I don't find their prices to be very competitive, therefore I don't shop there very often.

I have a wonderful Wegman's about a mile from my house. It is a great store and the prices of their basics aren't too bad.Their service is incredible, they will take anything back, the stores are spotless and the employees always go above and beyond.

I also shop at Aldi's and Trader Joes though and we have a Costco coming this fall so I may be adding that to the lineup,lol.

Went to Wegman's in Malibu across from the motel in which we were staying for a wedding. I didn't think it was so great or the prices.
