I am sure all us Beagle lovers are very happy with the Westminster winner. Having 2 Beagles I know I am!

Me too! The Beagle is finally getting the recognition it deserves. Miss P was an excellent representative of the breed.

I heard that very few female dogs win compared to the males, so this is another reason to celebrate!

I think that is true. Males tend to show better than females. Lassie was actually a male dog. I think for better trainability and coat appearance.

I love Beagles, too. I think that they are an awesome breed.

I am glad to hear that one one the competition this year.

When I was growing up, we had a neighbor in our neighborhood that had a beagle, and he used to let us stop and pet her when he was out walking her. Smile

She is one pretty little girl. What a sweet face. (this is coming from a cocker spaniel lover)
