Not to add more confusion, but according to NPR, Jericho might not be Cecil's brother.  That said, any of them being shot is disgusting.

oh I hope he is safe, it made me sick seeing that on CNN.

 

They were also saying that poaching is ruining the bloodlines and quality of future cubs. Killing the biggest, strongest only leaves the smaller ones to mate.
