They're not enemies per se, they just want to take us over.  Russia and China have the common goals of claiming territory and resources. Russia wants to seize some of the Artic, they control a lot of the energy going to Europe, they're helping Argentina so they can go after the Falkland Islands again, and China is a massive threat to everyone in Asia and beyond.  As one New Zealander said, there's only one thing between them and China, and it's America.  As we retreat and destroy our country, the threats will continue to get more serious.  With a public that doesn't know or think, we'll do exactly what the founding fathers feared and destroy ourselves from within.  

We're a country that will import millions of people that likely shouldn't be here but is deporting what few Christian refugees make it to our shores.  How did we get here?  

As as for the psychos, they've been pulling this cr ap since the seventh century.

As for those who typically and incorrectly think Israel should "get involved" they have been for the past four years. This is not their doing or their mistake. While others in the middle East sit back and do nothing.

As a matter of clarity, yes we did.

I have been to many, many Holocaust memorials including Yad Vashem, all pay great homage to American Service members.  

We were also under attack by Japan and thus Pearl Harbor.

I do not think America has, or should have a guilty guilty conscience regarding our actions in WWII, many other things, but not that.

My concern is that-

1 - I think V. Putin is an egotistical maniac 

2 - he is supporting the regime that has been bombing Syrian citizens.

Drythe, most Americans were against going into the war and had been since it began.  What pushed them over was Pearl Harbor, that was the reason we entered the war in 1941.  The war began in 1939.

Once in, we did liberate the Jews, along with others who liberated the Jews like those from the UK.

Not to be Miss Nit Pickey, however

4-10-1941 the US took it's 1st combat action against Germany in a Naval attack.

12-7-1941 the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor.

My dear Father taught history for 47 years and most family dinners were history lessons.

Admittedly it is a distinction without much difference, but never the less we went into combat against Germany before striking against Japan.

We went in officially after Pearl Harbor was attacked, Drythe.  That's my point.  We and others liberated Jews we came across but that was not our motivation for entering the war.  There are also reports we did not increase the number of Jewish refugees right after the war.

Maybe i am not understanding some of you, but world war two,was so worth  us going to fight, how could any one think it was not? T he iraq war ,was a mistake, i think, but when it comes to going in to syria, us sending in ground troups, i am not for, at least not now, putin really does worry me,he is not killing isis, the news says.I do think,going into some middle east countries, is not good, but do think that Israel is the key ,we should stand by them,however, the deal with iran, is not going against Israel, i think no matter what, it is just a matter of time,before all hell breaks out over there.

.....Putin hates America.  He is a Czar and full of himself.  His biggest wish is to make Mother Russia the strongest nation and rule the world.  This has been coming for a long time.   Russia on top....that is his desire.  He will stop at nothing to get it.   While we have cut back on our military...Putin and China have made theirs stronger.  I'll bet Israel is right up there with them....they have to be....even though their people sacrifice greatly for it.  When your surrounded...it's a must.  Who will come to our aid when and if we need it???? Think about that!   If anything happens to Israel and we don't help them, well.....I shudder to think of it.
