yep and also, like other many well run boards, have a time limit on your edits. If your post is over 20 minutes old, don't allow it to be edited.

I don't think the suggestion of "approving posts" is a good idea at all for a variety of reasons.

Who suggested that?

I did - in the suggestion forum. I get followed over there too - lol - they can't help themselves!

I think that for posters who have 'issues', instead of banning them, they can have their posts moderated and they must be approved by moderators. Once the poster proves that they can play well with others, they are taken off the moderation status

Well run boards do this. It will cut down on trolldom.

I missed this, but ditto to anything anyone posted about not being able to post "normal" posts here, with paragraphs, and standard sized text, when using an Ipad (which I'm not using now)

How stupid that a shopping site that sells iPads can't update their website to accommodate this technology.

I said

1 - fix the font for posts sent from iPads

2 - Keep the threads for vendor specific categories out of the general community listing so that to read WEN posts, Linea posts, Ripka posts etc you have to go to that forum

3 - Add a delete button to the edit button so we can delete our own posts if we wish

4 - Find a way to indicate precisely WHY a thread is poofed, especially when participants indicate confusion over a reasonable thread disappearing.

5 - would have been to FIX THE RUNTIME ERROR, but it didn't start happening again until AFTER I submitted my suggestions

What do you mean delete your own post? When you start a thread? Otherwise, you can delete your post.

Boy do I agree...its like we are children and have to be watched. Not sure why QVC puts up with having to babysit us all. This could be good or really... bad.

Re: Community Page - Share your Top Five Updated

Come on folks, can we PLEASE stop the bickering so this thread doesn't get deleted? I'd really like everyone to see and hopefully participate in making suggestions to improve things.

I already get it, some of you cannot get along regardless of WHAT the topic is.

You can "edit" and remove the content, but you cannot delete it.
