Re: Common household items you DON'T have

We don't have a toaster oven.  DH would like one, I probably would, too, but I don't have extra counter space left.

I'm always in need of more rubber bands, I use them all the time but they disappear.  I've caught the family tossing one after using it.  WHAT!  Put it back in the box to use again Woman Surprised

I have many/several of everything on that list.  If you saw my house  you'd believe it!  Ha!

I don't have a "baseboard buddy" as seen on info-mercials on TV, but I will probably buy one, one of these days.  Any product that promises to help me clean more quickly, I may eventually buy.  And many of those I do buy work.

The problem with the Mr. Clean eraser and baseboards is that I have to scrub with it.  Smiley Happy  Apparently with baseboard buddy, I can just waft a wand downward and scrub the scuffs away.

Cookie Sheets....I'm not big on sweets and hate baking so I don't make cookies and/or own cookie sheets.

I'm sure there are other items but that was the first thing that popped into my head.

Hi, @Noel7, I can't get away from commercials for it. I rise early which is when I keep seeing them.

It's like a short mop with a rotating head, and you walk around wielding it to efface scuff marks (and cat-barf marks).

The commercials entrance me, because the actress seems so radiant while waving the "buddy" around and watching the baseboard go from soiled to gleaming and shining.  I envy her those clean baseboards.

I'll probably cave and buy it at the "As Seen on TV" section of BB and Beyond at some point, because a similar bathroom product makes cleaning tile easier.  The cleaner on that one isn't base-board friendly, though.  The head isn't flexible.

@Burnsite

It sounds wonderful!  I can't believe I've never seen the commercial. I'll look for it, I'm usually up at odd hours of the night but I don't remember that one.  I have seen the one for tile.

Thanks Woman Very Happy

Re: Common household items you DON'T have

I have all those small items but I don't have food processor.  Every now and then I come across a recipe that calls for a food processor and I tell myself I'll get one but I just never do.  Last week my dietician was telling our group that we could use a food processor to make soft serve icecream from our protein shake mixes and I got so mad at myself. Everyone in the group had one.   I love soft serve icecream and I've missed icecream since I've been on my diet.  Perhaps I'll get one tomorrow.

Re: Common household items you DON'T have

I have everything mentioned, even different size nails and a hammer and a ladder. I don't use my toaster often but it's not on the counter, it's under the cabinet along with the waffle maker, my coffee maker and keurig are on the counter along with the keurig carousel.

Everything has its place, stationary, paper, pens, pencils, note pad, sticky pads, stapler, staples in one drawer. Safety pins are in my sewing kit and bandaids in my medicine drawer.
