I keep thinking how I'd feel if I was in a room with my teen grandson, a male friend of my parents or a stranger and one of these ads started blaring.  How would you feel?

No big deal for me.  I recognize the realities of life and do not believe in ignoring them and clutching my pearls thinking "Oh MY"  it is not to EVER be mentioned and is something to be embarrassed about!!  In all probability times have changed and the younger generation has not been indoctrinated to those "secrets" to be kept hidden.  I also would probably say something if I saw a young person in my life seem embarrassed.  No wonder there are so many misconceptions about the human body!!

@Malcontent   I see from your post number you are probably new to the board. You know there is a TV (i.e. for commercials) and Movie forum right?

@Pearlee   Actually, as you can see by her registration date, she's been around since 2015.  While posting about a TV ad may not be technically correct in "Community Chat", it is acceptable.

@Kachina624  "Acceptable"  in your opinion but I disagree. IMO that's what the TV forum is for.

@Pearlee    I don't notice any hysteria emanating from the mods.  Must be okay with them.

@Kachina624  They are busy and don't often move threads to the more appropriate place. I wish they would.

Just a few days ago you chastised a poster who started a second thread on a subject already started. Her thread was "acceptable"  to a lot of people here  even though you thought not. Just as you expressed that opinon, I expessed mine here.

@Pearlee   I most certainly did not chastise anyone.  I merely mentioned that the subject had already been posted.  Period.  What she did with that information was up to her.  It was others who chose to make a big deal of it.  Didn't matter to me.

I'm not upset by these commercials, I'm just kind of tired of them.  I keep getting Lume and Poopouri ads, and ads for things that make you poop, and I'm just over it.

We get it; you're edgy.  But it's not that funny anymore when you see it day after day after day.

It's also gross and unnecessary to tell people to sniff the suds on their hands after washing their rear ends (Lume).  If you have any doubt about the efficacy of your soap, just wash twice.  It's not that difficult, and you don't need a special soap to do it.
