No offense, Jannabelle . . . just much more than some quacker sweaters or whatever they sell. I remember when the person in the company passed away . . . someone on the boards said condolences to me! I would have never thought . . . but then I only buy some of the beauty TSV's and maybe a Kitchen-Aid one . . . and in years gone by maybe a Dooney All Weather Leather on QVC.

Hey, by the way . . . did you EVER take that wonderful trip to Disney World? I hope you have been able to go since our last posts to each other about Disney!

That's funny, I wonder if they thought you were part of quacker factory.........no I have not been to Disney,.....have you? I want to but I need cool weather to go,lol

Nope not since Dec. 2012 . .. yep cooler weather is best especially December with the holidays . . . I want to go BACK. I miss having annual passes and the kids being younger and taking them a few times a year.

Oh maybe early Dec before school is out? I love to avoid crowds too...I think we both deserve a trip there soon! ${#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}$ ...only thing is I like to stay at the resort, so that takes a lot of saving!

I would prefer what they have done to some of my posts and that is this. Remove the posts that seem to be going "against Community Standards" and all of them that respond to such posts in a way not consistent with these standards.

Why take shut down and interesting thread because of a few, sometimes questionable, responses? I've lost track of how many times they have pulled my posts and many of them I haven't a clue why they did so, but I accept the fact that they are gone.

My preference would be what I've said above or just take the whole thread down. I like many others have responded to a thread only to get the "commenting period closed", but not until after I typed of my always very short synopsis's.

I was of the opinion that when the Webmaster(s) does anything, like when you type a word that's not permissible, they always write the reason in red underneath your attempted post explaining why they won't allow it to be posted. That's been my experience. I've seen them quickly shut down a thread when there was a lot of inflammatory remarks, fighting, bashing, name calling, and other inappropriate conversations taking place, just to hush the one's misbehaving, but I haven't known what they do to those who have been decent yet they shut down a thread, except I heard once they didn't like the direction it was taking and they closed it to avoid possible in-fighting between known trouble-making posters.

John, you certainly are non of these so I can't imagine why they would ever shut you down, they should know you as well as we all do from your long-term, frequent postings.

But, they do state that they have the power to do it whenever they feel it's needed and they certainly don't have to explain it to us, so we will never figure out their reasoning.

It is just that way.
