I usually ignore obnoxious TV ads but this t-paper commercial, about going commando, is totally awful. My husband didn't even know what going commando meant. I told him. Sheesh! This ad is gross!

I don't like it either. Put your drawers on people!

A bunch of BFs get together every month for cards and drinks and once we had the commando discussion. I was surprised at how many ladies do indeed not use panties on a regular basis, including work. That said, I don't like the commercials.

Tasteless and very annoying! Who thinks of these ad campaigns?

The goal of any effective advertising campaign is to be noticed, discussed, and remembered. Looks like this one is working.

Well their goal should also be for us to want to try their product. I notice, discuss (sometimes) and remember NOT to buy it.

You're right. Contrary to popular belief, the goal of most product advertising is SALES. If the ads or commercials only get talked about but don't result in an increase in sales of the product or service, then the campaign has failed.

Increasing brand awareness or positioning is about the only time that ads or commercials don't specifically aim for sales.

I have not seen this ad but it's interesting the degree of off-putting that the commando visual invokes.

Skeery stuff.

I have a healthy sense of humor and found the commercial vulgar.

There are many elements: wind, fire, water
But none quite like the element of surprise
