Without taking classes I became an excellent interior designer simply because I had a love for it.  Being a people person led me to a career with Warner Bros Studios in Burbank, CA where I not only had to solve problems, but where I was able to utilize my skills at interior design as well.  I honestly do not like being retired and miss being surrounded by people even though some of them were a royal headache.

I'm a great expository writer and I write poetry, but then I was an English major in college. I have always had an artistic bent that is reflective in my interior decor and in other endeavors. I make cards, do heritage scrap booking, and design and make jewelry. I have a license to sell my jewelry, and have sold many pieces, though I do not dedicate much time to selling. I just like making the items.

I am a way above average listener. 

When I was little, I was the neighborhood champion at the hula hoop, but was just average jumping rope.

I didn’t particularly care for it — I loved and taught ballet.

I am a befriender. I get along well with almost everyone.. I don't know  if this is something I would class as good at? I can't think of anything else?

I was 'fresh off the 'plane" from U.K. and landed nursing position in the first S.F. AIDS Clinic where I discovered I was so good at caring for - what was then - terminally ill patients.

I loved my job, found I really could help these patients - spent all my days and weekends visiting, cuddling, singing and loving them - a great experience to know you can really do something well and helpful.  I just knew I was good at this!
