Does anyone have cell service with Comcast?  We're debating about switching.  The saving would be $190/month to $85/month for 3 phones.  Reliability and a wide service area is a must because husband works from home.  If you have any experience...good/bad/ugly...please let me know.  Thank you.

@ScrapHappy  In my area Comcast is overpriced for everything. My husband and I have Verizon and each pay $35.00 a month. It's a much better deal and better coverage.

I HAD cell service--with Xfinity but changed over to Consumer Cellular--happily I might add. Am paying $31 a month. And still Xfinity is bugging me about my past service and $$ I still owe--according to them--I do not and have been told that 2x now by their customer service---hate those guys!!!Avoid them if possible.

I have had Comcast for my phone service for 3 years now.  No problems ever and its not as expensive as Verizon that I had previously.  Coverage has been great where I live.

We also use Consumer Cellular, and haven't had any problems whatsoever, after several years.

I'll NEVER deal with Comcast/Xfinity ever again in this life!!! Smiley Sad

I changed a few months ago.  My bill is $15 a month because I have their internet.  After the promotional period ends, it will be $40/month.  Way cheaper than my AT&T.  I'm happy with the service.  I also got an IPhone 17.  I upgraded from an iPhone 14.  It was $130 for the phone due to the 14 -  that price of $15 included the $130 upgrade.

My best friend switched to Comcast Cell because they use Verizon towers. They said it was a huge mistake because of dropped calls, no service and poor customer service. They couldn't wait for their contract to expire so they could go back to Verizon. I don't know this for a fact but it seems to me, even though they use Verizon towers, Verizon's direct customers take priority during busy times. I know Comcast offers really good deals if you switch your cell service. For me, I don't want the added stress. Your area might be different, and you might enjoy great service and savings. We do have Comcast's land line phone in our home and have a fair amount of outages but since we gave up our AT& T land line, we can't get it back.

We too have Consumer Cellular through AARP.  Excellent coverage and very reasonably priced.  And when you call them you get a PERSON, not a menu!! (And they're very nice.)

Whatever you do, stay away from Spectrum for mobile phone, internet or anything.  They are theiving b*#&@#ds.  And they lie about coverage.  I switched my mobile service to them and was supposed to have it "forever" for $ 29.99 a month, all included.  They have recently uped it to $ 40.00 a month and told me "gee, you didn't read the fine print; we can change it whenever we want". And the internet is a whole other cluster................
