I like to acknowledge Columbus Day. I like Thanksgiving in November. Indigenous People Day would be nice to acknowledge also just not on Columbus Day. Give them their own day. It isn’t like Columbus Day or Indigenous People Day are federal holidays with pay or the day off anyway.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

Yes, it is.  Fed workers have the day off.  No mail delivery.

Happy Indigenous Peoples Day everyone!

On another note, Canadians got it right by celebrating Thanksgiving in October.  I don't like Christmas following on the heels of US Thanksgiving.

"Indigenous Peoples Day" is a part of a continuing effort to tear down this country's heritage and culture and replace it with something that is unrecognizable to all but those who hate this country and it's founding.

@Cats3000  So true! Why don’t they advocate for a separate Indigenous Peoples Day instead of trying to take away from our history. We like Columbus day. There’s always something new to whine and complain about. HAPPY COLUMBUS DAY ALL!
