Re: Colorado storm!

[ Edited ]

Be safe! It must still be blowing and snowing there because it is by my house. I was just looking at the weather and it shows snow until Thursday?

We are expecting the Colorado blizzard to move my way tonight. We're told it will snow up to 2" per hour for several hours.  It looks like draining the oil and gas out of my snowblower was premature. LOL

I'm thrilled most of the storm ended up going north of us. We got 2" of very heavy, wet snow!  Meteorologists were predicting 8-12".  Smiley Happy

We ended up getting about 2 feet with huge drifts. My DH got us dug out and we are expecting another 3 inches by tomorrow am! I'm really over the snow I need some beautiful spring days! Blessings to all

Hi everyone in Colorado, are any of you in or near Lakewood?  I ask because we are considering moving there and I'm curious as to whether or not they get heavy snow.  Stay safe everyone, be careful while walking and driving.Heart

@Lindsays Grandma

Lakewood is Metro Denver on the west side of town. It gets about the same amount of snow as Denver sometimes a little more. Only a handful of shoveling days a season, usually pretty manageable. In Spring, 20210317_014604.jpg snow can be almost gone by the next day, this was yesterday in our development, one day after the storm.

@rockygems123 ...Thank you rockygems123, that helps and also makes me feel better knowing it doesn't get too much snow.    We were in Lakewood visiting several years ago and drove through Littlton, oh how I loved what I saw but I'm sure housing is very expensive there, thanks again.  Woman Happy
