@Sugipine  How much snow did you get?  Didn't get anything here except wind and a few flurries...nothing on the ground...be careful...DW

It's hard to say exactly how much snow we got. Yesterday, since it was just above freezing, some of it melted except in some areas like my deck (above ground) where it's probably close to 7-8 inches there.  The wind is howling so now I've got some deep drifts piling up on my driveway . Probably gonna have to call my snow blower guy tomorrow just b/c of the drifts. Otherwise it looks about 6-7 inches deep in other places. Drifts are probably a foot deep maybe more. MORE SNOW COMING TODAY!...and they say a lot more.

We are expecting the Colorado blizzard to move my way tonight. We're told it will snow up to 2" per hour for several hours.  It looks like draining the oil and gas out of my snowblower was premature. LOL

@Sugipine  We ended up right now with just a heavy dusting...not sure if we are gonna get more.   The sky is breaking up and there are patches of blue...DW

We're seeing some clearing, too. But that's misleading here. There's a donut hole effect where we're located with snow all around and it's shifting so we are still getting moments of intense snowfall. Could mean anywhere of up to 5" more by the end of the day. Snowdrifts are a problem b/c of the high winds we are having now and they won't end until early tomorrow morning.

Re: Colorado storm!

@Marp :  I'm in AZ mtns; we always put a black garbage bag over our satellite for Winter snow season. It works very well; worst thing is you may need to sweep it off with a broom if it snows really hard ( our satellite is at ground level).

Hi looks like we did get clobbered last night and more expected today. We have at least 10-12 inches already. There are restrictions for driving for essential personnel and there have been some collapased roofs and downed trees. I feel sorry for everyone going through all that. There are so many stranded motorists between Colo and Wyoming they are asking for help from the National Guard. I am so praying for everyone. It's days like this I am more grateful to have heat, roof over my head and food. Blessings to all.

I live south of the airport and it's pouring snow with high wind.  We have at least 18 inches.  Some idiot in the neighborhood tried to get out and hit a parked car.  Wish people would use a little common sense.

@LillyandHobo   DD sent pictures this morning, they are snowed in.  Even her dog and cat know something is different, so many huge snowflakes on the window screen the cat was crouching to see out, lol.  The dog loves snow but even he looked as if to say, "what the heck,"

Look at this! It's a NOAA satellite image of the storm over Colorado. Amazing.
