@Mj12   right, I know who she is now since this story broke but I just wasnt sure if she was still indeed a student at USC, I havent even heard her name mentioned. Seems like its always all about Olivia. Poor girl has prob lived her whole life playing second fiddle to Olivia. Hope not.

@sidsmom   you are correct. I just went back and reviewed the number you indicated and said to myself, "self, how did you miss that?"  Oh, I responded to myself, " the message is in microscopic print!!!!"But, the boat was not.

Be that as it may, my close relative is in Academia thankfully not the ones mentioned. She informed me last night that they have been informed that all the children involved in this scandal will be allowed to finish out the year then discharged from the College or University. The rationale being they did not meet the Academic standards for admission.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Hallmark Channel cut ties Thursday with favored star Lori Loughlin, a day after her arrest in a college admissions scam put the family-friendly network and extended Hallmark brand in uncomfortable proximity to a headline-grabbing scandal.

"We are saddened by the recent allegations surrounding the college admissions process," Hallmark Cards Inc., parent company of the Crown Media Family Networks umbrella group that includes the Hallmark Channel, said in a statement.

"We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin" and have stopped development of all productions with the actress for Crown Media channels, the statement said.

While I am glad these scams are being announced and the people are being indicted, they have not been tried yet; however they are already losing their jobs and contracts, which I don't think is fair. Yes, the kids should be kicked out of the schools, but this is just the way of our society now where there is a rush to judgment and people are being found guilty without the benefit of a trial. I heard that Hallmark is no longer willing to work with Lori Laughlin, and her daughter has lost the sponsorship of one of the companies she represents on her social media blog. Again, probably appropriate - but not yet. I think it is a very scary trend.
