Coldplay has been one of the biggest bands for many years now, don't understand people not knowing who they are.

Never thought I'd see them go on QVC to sell albums, their albums sell very well on their own. Must have been their record company 's idea.

I turned off music in the 80's when MJ and Madonna came along.

I have never heard of them nor have I heard their music.

It sounds like it was a big hit for them and QVC.  Kudos to both....just not for me.

I am a huge fan of Cold Play, love their music and Chris Martin. I didn't catch the show but I find it to replay it.

It was probably blue pea flower tea, which is delicious.

Re: Coldplay - who is going to watch?

I have to be honest.  I've heard their name in passing but never had the impetus to explore their music.  I'm usually disappointed with today's music.  I tried listening to Taylor Swift but I just don't relate to it or like it.  So I listen to my own music while exercising & it's quite a variety.  I have memories attached to my selections.

I did happen to tune in while waiting for my 9 PM show & I have to admit that their music was pleasant, nice words, not offensive.  I love gospel music, particularly, The Soweto Gospel Group.  So, it prompted me to go to Amazon music to listen to more & it's quite nice so i can't say I'm a fan yet but it has potential for me.

I actually enjoyed the show & I don't think I heard the music was related to the "age of possibility" tho I know Weds is one of those days.  I loved Jen's blouse as an aside

Re: Coldplay - who is going to watch?

I thought the Coldplay thing was going to be a video of their concert.  Where were they actually playing?  They were on SNL last Saturday and stunk IMO.  I liked their original music when they first came on the scene but now they sound Noisy. Maybe it's my 50+ fabulousness.

Re: Coldplay - who is going to watch?

I'm flummoxed by the band and qvc having any sort of affiliation - unless Coldplay can't get other venues or nobody wants to listen to them today. It's very weird. I did like their music back in the 90's but NOW? On QVC?  They're probably having popularity issues.
