I live inside my house which is heated so the outside temperature doesn't bother me. It is cold outside, 25 but with extremely strong winds. It's howling and I'm worried about one particular tree. So, it feels colder. I bundle up in layers and appropriate clothing when I go out. Out meaning, I dash from my house to my car. I have the heat up to 78 so I'm very comfortable.. Gotta get through March and then we'll move into spring.

So bitter cold and icy, going to stay this way at least into early next week.
Hate it, can't even walk or be out with the dogs.

Our temps will remain below 0 for at least the next 6 days. That doesn't count windchill.
This is the first winter in a long time that I've been cold. My body temp has been on contant hot flash since menoipause. As gross as it is, I could sweat through a t-shirt when it's -30 degrees. My dr gave me a medication that helps reduce sweat and I actually feel human again. But maybe it's also making me a little cold this year.
@CalminHeart. Please don't drop temperature information on us without saying where you are.
I find the older I get, the more susceptible I am to extremes in heat and cold.

Lincoln, NE has not had any snow or cold weather for a couple of years. However, we are apparently making up for the lovely weather this week with very cold, snow upon snow (who needs or wants that?), and below zero temps throughout the week. That's a bit much for me!

I'm in the upper midwest.

The wind here is horrible, so much snow it is so difficult to get out to feed the birds, because of drifting snow.

I can't take the cold! It's supposed to get down to 5 tonight....don't know the wind chill yet. Thankfully, my grandson and wife bought me an electric throw and I've been getting under it several times a day!
They didn't know what to get me and my daughter told them "she's always cold" so this is one present I'm really enjoying!

@goldensrbestDo you remember the snowstorm of ‘78? If you were in Maine at that time the snow was 5 feet high in the Central part of the state. I can remember shoveling my driveway for almost two days.
We did not live in maine at that time, but certainly heard about it.

It is winter
In Illinois this is common
This goes back as long as I can remember
But the weak American culture complains
and they protest as if it's not usual
Pull up your boots and dress warm
Its going to pass
