I'm so sorry that so many are experiencing such frigid temperatures! I live in the Southern California Desert and our temps are hitting in the 90s by next week. We hibernate in the summer instead of winter because it reaches surface of the sun temperatures.

I am on the Eastern side of you, in the AZ Sonoran Desert, and we are in for a similar heat wave.   

WAY TOO HIGH for Feb.   I guess we are in for another SUMMER  SCORCHER like the past two years!

I do believe we desert dwellers are looking at another scorching summer as well and though it's horribly hot during our summers, I  cannot fathom those frigid winter temps others are experiencing!!! After all these years in the desert, my blood must be as thin as water by now, lol.
