Clothing storage, blanket storage

Seeing the tsv today, got me to wanting to ask for items you do not want to give up, clothing is so expensive as every thing is ,what types of storage containers do you use?

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

Re: Clothing storage, blanket storage

@goldensrbest Not sure I understand the beginning of your comment...but...I have two main types of storage containers...and I love the Periea boxes, which I have two sets.

I use them for seasonal decor mostly for my outside storage, and also for accessories in my bedroom closet shelves.

I also have a few compression storage containers...plastic compression bags covered with a zip up canvas bag/box, from HSN about 4 years ago. I use those for seasonal bedding.

Both type boxes have helped me get and stay much more contained and organized.

The Periea boxes were for storage to me what Joy Mangano huggable hangers were to me over a decade ago....improved my life! The Periea boxes, btw...attractive, practicle with the zipping from the top and sides, the clear views...easy to assemble, easy to collapse, very well made and sturdy. Hope that helps!!

Re: Clothing storage, blanket storage

I am very fortunate that I do not need extra storage for my clothing.  I can fit all of my clothing into my large walk-in closet.  I have it organized according to type, color and seasons.  It holds shoes on shelves made for that purpose, but I have zippered boxes to hold multiple pairs of shoes under my bed and again under the bed in a guest room.

My bathroom linen closet is large too.  It hold tons of towels, shower curtains, bathroom rugs, cases of TP  and tissues ( from Costco), soap and other supplies.

I also have a linen closet in the hall outside of my main bathroom.  It is a smaller closet.  I store blankets, sheets and quilts in there.  I found that that closet was always messy and things would fall and get unfolded.  I store those types of items in storage boxes like the TSV.  I got mine from Amazon and they are the exact measurement of the shelves.

I have to put them onto the shelves empty, then fill them from the front. They work perfect.

I do have some of the TSV boxes.  I use them in a spare bedroom.   closet to store handbags.  They work great. I also use the TSV boxes in my coat closet to hold gloves, hats, etc.

Re: Clothing storage, blanket storage

I bought 4 storage pieces from Amazon.  Similar to what QVC is offering, way cheaper and they hold a lot.  IMO, the ones on QVC are too "pretty" to hide away in a closet.  Mine from Amazon are functional and I'm very happy with them.

I use them to store out of season clothing and bedding including comforters and blankets.

I use ones like the TSV but mine don't have a stiff frame so they can be squashed down to fit under my bed. The entire space under my bed is filled with zippered storage bags. My bed is a platform-style, no box spring, so there's a lot of room under it.

Re: Clothing storage, blanket storage

I use a Scout Bags Medium Roost Storage Bin to hold my few extra blankets. I don't need other storage containers like the TSV. The quality of the TSV looks really good though, but I just don't need them.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
