I placed an order on their site on Monday. Just about $100.
got 30% off my order
free shipping
Then, free full sized moisturizer from cashing in some rewards points
Then, gift with purchase cosmetic bag filled with products
Then free full sized cleansing oil because my order was over $75
Order came about an hour ago. I brought the box in and it was wet on about 50% of the box, on the side. It's not raining here.
I opened the box and most of the top stuffing paper was wet. O...k...
The cleansing oil had leaked in the box. The gift with purchase was fine because it was in a sealed plastic bag. The other boxes were ok enough, just a little greasy so I took the items out of the boxes.
The bottle of cleansing Oil was a little less than 1/2 full.
I took pictures and called Clinique. I told the associate what happened and he put me on hold for a minute. Then he came back and said they were replacing the ENTIRE order for free. I said "you really don't need to do that. I can work with the slightly greasy product boxes. No problem really with those. You just need to replace the cleansing oil." He said that their policy is that if the order was damaged or had damage, they replaced everything for free. I said "but I feel like I'm cheating and I don't like that. I really just need you to replace the oil". He said no, that again, their policy is to replace the entire order and that it should ship out in a few days.
I was floored. He said "Merry Christmas from Clinique".

I too just had an excellent CS experience but with Prescriptives.
They had a Black Friday deal and I ordered an item I used to love but had forgotten about. However, I opened the package and it was an entirely different product that I could not use (dark color of foundation) and no invoice or return label included.
I checked my confirmation email from them and called the number listed, talked to a friendly efficient young woman who apologized, is sending out the correct item 2-day shipping, and I was told to keep what I did receive or give it away to someone who could use it.
And....she said she'd include a bunch of samples. I am very pleased. And not used to this quality service! Definitely will order from them (and Clinique, one of my favorites) in the future.

That reminds me of an experience I had with Zulily. I had received two pairs of shoes with minor priblems. One had pretty colored laces but they were so short, they couldn't be tied. Ordered another pair from Amazon. I can't remember what was wrong with the other pair, but it was minor.
I told the CSR I didn't want anything, I just wanted them to know. She immediately insisted on refunding the entire purchase price and , by the way, "keep the shoes".

@author - I love Prescriptives and ordered from them also. Magic powder, False Eyelashes Mascara, Vibrant C Eye Cream and Virbrant C Moisturizer are the products I use from them.
