It may be because we moved all our furniture to 1 side of our house. Ya never know. Some say CC is responsible for so many things I've lost count, so why not our furniture? It's just as likely as many other things I have heard and read.

John, it's just a guess, but I think the water spoken of might weigh a little more than your furniture, lol.

He's close. The "water tables" are affecting it too.

Thank you, @Noel7.  Fascinating.  I am awed by the work (and also the insight) that goes into such findings.

The insight part reminds me of how Archimedes was said to have discovered how to measure volume.

"Earth does not always spin on an axis running through its poles. Instead, it wobbles irregularly over time, drifting toward North America throughout most of the 20th Century (green arrow). That direction has changed drastically due to changes in water mass on Earth."

What climate change?  250 peer-reviewed studies last year alone don't back the theory, most scientists call it "weather," and with 40,000 dying in Europe during the winter of 2014, yeah for warming...but we're actually cooling.

BTW, the planet itself spews so much more filth into the atmosphere than all human activity combined, and when the sun burns hotter, we're going to be hotter.

Tax the sun!  Tax the planet!

That's cute. There are over 12,000 papers supporting it and there's a 97% consensus rate that it's real and that people are contributing to it.

And no, we're not cooling. That's a myth believed when people don't look at the whole picture. http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Features/GISSTemperature/giss_temperature2.php

12,000 pages, 97%.  Lots of deep pockets, lots of government grants and many crooked politicians on both sides.

I still don't care about "climate change," and I have plenty of company.  When people are asked to rank issues they care about this one is near the bottom.  I can't afford to have my utility bills climb and climb.

You do have lots of company, 23% of Americans don't care or believe it.

But, then again, 63% do.

The surveys I've seen were nothing like the numbers you cite.  And they were recent.  It was near the very bottom of the list of concerns.  People are concerned about jobs, the economy, and a raft of other things.  It is a boutique issue.

In a recent poll, 65 percent of those who were surveyed believed leprechauns, fairies, ghosts, angels, flying saucers and aliens exist.
